Portico HOA Background and Management

Our subdivision was initiated in 2002 and lies within northern unincorporated Gwinnett County Georgia close the Hall County line. Our neighborhood includes 40 homes. We don’t have any amenities such as are common in larger neighborhoods. We have a mandatory Homeowner’s Association (HOA) with covenants and a homeowner annual fee, which covers the costs of maintaining our front-entrance landscaping and the county-mandated stormwater-runoff retention pond. The HOA also pays the bill for our streetlights and the lights on the front-entrance sign. Our HOA is managed by an all-volunteer board.

Portico HOA has a Board of Directors elected on a staggering basis with a two-year minimum service commitment. Meetings of the Board are held from time to time as needed. Any board member may be contacted for the date and time of the next scheduled meeting. We currently have openings on the board and welcome help from any interested resident. The only requirement for Board membership is being a resident of the neighborhood (who is correct on their dues) and a willingness to serve.

If you do live here, please register. All communication with residents is via this web site. You can download a copy of our covenants once you register yourself on this web site. Feel free to contact any Board member with any questions you may have regarding Portico.

Portico residents in the process of making any renovation or modification to their property should consult the neighborhood covenants and download the modification form from this website. Approvals are required prior to the start of any project. The modification form must be submitted in ample time for review and approval. If you are in doubt, please contact the Board. This neighborhood approval is in addition to any Gwinnett-County forms and approvals your project might require.
